Pokemon TCG: Storm Emeralda Booster Box

Storm Emeralda continues to introduce Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and Trainer cards from the video game. Instead of being based on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, this set is primarily based on Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, featuring characters from the games and a heavy focus on Mega Rayquaza ex as the central Pokémon, although Mega Evolution Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A still make an appearance.

A new gameplay mechanic introduced in this expansion is paired Stadium cards that feature one artwork split into two. These pairs of Stadium cards are played together as one large card, but otherwise follow the same rules as other Stadium cards.

Storm Emeralda is designed for use in Sealed format tournaments, in which participants are provided with sealed TCG products and have to build and battle their decks using only cards pulled from those products, along with any other cards provided by the tournament staff.

Storm Emeralda will be released in Japan on July 31, 2026, followed by localized releases in Taiwan and Hong Kong on August 7, 2026, and in South Korea on August 21, 2026. Each booster pack contains 5 cards. Each booster box contains 30 packs. Cards released in this set are expected to be included in the English Delta Reign expansion releasing on November 6, 2026.

Storm Emeralda was revealed at the same time as Delta Reign and Ruler of the Skies, the latter being a Rayquaza-themed set for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket.
